• The individual string intonation is set by adjusting the string saddles.

• The guitar or bass strings lie on low-friction roller saddles which prevent the strings from breaking.
• This means the string spacing can be adjusted flexibly.

Advantages of Pure Sound brass

• Due to its softness, brass is an ideal saddle material and offers sufficient resistance to the strings. 
• Uncoated brass saddles (plain or notched) can be easily customized by the guitar maker with a saddle file for smooth transitions.
