The new PT-6061-00 is a slotted, permanently lubricated nut for Post-2014 Epiphone style guitars with a ¼” thickness. This nut will fit a lot of different electric and acoustic guitars, with permanent lubrication. This nut will fit most electric and acoustic guitars with a ¼” nut thickness. All of our slotted nuts are a little tall (on purpose), so just sand the bottom of the nut to get your perfect string height. It will handle up to a .48 gauge low E string without widening the slot.One of the key causes of tuning frustration is string binding at the nut.

Black TUSQ XL is impregnated with PTFE, the slipperiest substance on earth and alleviates the binding grip the nut has on the strings. Strings simply glide back into tune!
